Re: Kiwizook's resto
so, a bit of a pictorial update, this is how she looks now
and some of the stuff I have to fix, the fuel tank support, the exaust someone fixed using too small tube, and the rear bed supports, only the two front ones
and the rear axle taken off, sitting here with the rest of bits
and finally the garage when I was painting some parts this morning
and now I'm off to milk some cows for the guy I bought my sj off, and I'll use the money to pay him for the sj, as I haven't done that yet It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Re: Kiwizook's resto
time for a bit of an update, the build is going way too slow for my liking. the new developments so far are the rear springs and axle all been cleaned and painted, and all put back together, waiting to be put back on using some new bushes. Also have been painting the chassis, am up to the rear cab supports, just got to do some of the little corners, but i'll have to clean these first with a waterblaster or something, as it is really hard to get a brush in there.
also got a co2 cylinder for the welder, just waiting to certify it and fill it up, but it's so expensive.
also might make a workbench in a little shed we have that's empty, will be good to work in when it's rainy, just won't be able to get the whole pickup in there, as the door is on the wrong side and too small

So, have made one of the sheds into a lil workshop. can't get the pickup in there, but is good to work on parts. made a workbench out of some lvl and plywood, works a treat
put most stuff in there, and this is how it looks

I wouldn't even think of it, but yea, it used to be a horse stable about 5 years ago, before we moved in, and been used to rear calves in and as a chook house since, that's why all the straw is there
