New Tyres

Just been off roading for the first time in my SJ, it performed really well. But I would like to get some beefier tyres. Has anyone got any recommendations on what size, make, width etc. to go for?

How much on road and off road u will do
them tyres are like 60% off-road and 40% on road I think

Ahh, it will probably be about 80% off road and 20% on road, so thats okay. Will they fit onto my SJ with standard height?

U would go for something more chunkier but that's me

yep, they'll fit. they are only like 26 1/2" so should be fine. a lot of people use this thread pattern, which performs really well, I'm just don't know about the quality of the rubber for this particular brand

**EDIT, this is for the 205 tyres, not the 235 daz was talking about

195 80 15 or 215 75 15 are good standard sizes

As far as I know 195 is standard on sj . 215 standard on sami and 205s are jimny standard.
That tread pattern. had it in various size's and they have been great

But avoid amazon technic Brand I had them and they perished after a few months!

Hmm il have a look, does anyone know the best/cheapest place to get tyres from? Or are they all around the same price?

There has been some good deals via ebay. Always worth contacting and seeing if they
Can do a better deal. Ebay for second hand .
