new sj owner

Post by kernow_joe » Mon Apr 15, 2013 7:22 pm

hi there, I'm new here, just bought my first sj a week ago and already excited to get out and play.

It's already been played with, and has an isuzu 1.7 td engine fitted, spoa, lifted springs, and other things.

its generally pretty rot free and hoping I should get a good few years playin out of it

How does it handle with spoa & lift shackles? It looks good and those tyres look massive on it!

located in cornwall, just updated my profile to suit.

I couldn't tell you how it handles yet as I've only driven it on and off of a trailer then the engine died. spent every spare evening/day over the past week fault finding, found the snorkel acted more as a water butt than a snorkel feared it was dead but ended up only being snapped fuel pipe from the lift pump :)

Hi welcome,

is it sagging on the springs, or is it sitting on an incline?
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

I'm based in st agnes, did he sell it a year and half ago? as I think the guy I bought it off just had it sat for a year and never got round to doing anything with it.
How come you wouldn't buy it any reason or just preference as I have literally no history knowledge of whats been done apart from what I've worked out. could defenitely benefit from some tidying
