Bit of a thread hi jack now.

I had both backing plates Darrell but to make life easy i gave my Jap SJ reg to the motor factors to identify parts and got sent jap shoes. They wouldn't fit the spanish backing plate, only fit jap plate with a minor adjustment.

I have two drums aswell but neither has a hole in them.

I'm getting a few bits done at a local engineering place so may have them drill it out. Save me knackering mine. Just need measurements.

Remember to tell the mot tester you have a transmission handbrake! Otherwise you get what I got the mot tester trying to test the handbrake effiency on the rollers and wondering why he wad getting a bad reading aka a failure. Until I told him that you cant really test them

Best of luck on the mot she will be fine :doublethumbs:
Tom :)
