Bull Bar or similar

Post by powell1832 » Wed Aug 19, 2009 7:33 pm

Hi

can anyone tell me where the mounting brackets for the bullbar sit, maybe with a picture? After taking mine off which was rotten I saw that the mounting struts were bent to hitch onto the engine mounts (this didnt seem right!)

Also Does anyone (near Kent) have a bullbar they want to sell? I just missed one on ebay, and all the others on there are oop north.

ok, that doesn't make sense, it would seem that whoever mounted mine wanted to try to make it as difficult as possible then!!

i wouldnt bother with a bullbar they do more damage than good if you hit something off road! Perhaps the previous owner reailised this so he braced it to the engine mounts to stop it moving back? Just a guess, you got any pics of it?

Na no pics sorry I took it off to soon!

What do we suggest instead of a bull bar then? it just looks a bit bare in the front now?
