Hi all.
was just thinking what are some good/possible/viable carbs swaps for the suzuki engine's we commonly deal with. I know su carbs are used a lot, they are reliable and cheap. also know of webber carbs, but these are expensive as far as I know. what else do people run, or what do you know? would be good to get some info, and just have a good discussion on the matter

It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Re: alternative carbs
On the 1300 i have ran Hyundai Pony, Daihatsu Charade and Subaru Justy.
All are direct bolt on swaps, all pipes, wires and cables match all most exactly. Only difference is i always fitted a manual choke. Choke cable had to be fitted and i just joined the old hot water feed/return pipe together.
I've also heard of a Nikki carb of some VWs being fitted.
Only swap i know of for a 1.0 is the SU HIF38.

Re: alternative carbs
well, I swapped my carb on the f10a for a su hs6, and it fired up, haven't really had it running for a long enough time to see how it performs, but it was easy enough to put on there, apart from having to extend the choke and the accelerator cable's
