Part numbers required

Post by Jordi » Mon May 20, 2013 11:01 am

Phoned up my local factors for some 1600 bits only to be asked various questions and told there were multiple items listed

Need the following part numbers for my 1600 conv

Cambelt
Fan belt
PAS belt
Oil filter
Spark plugs

Told him it was a G16A 1995 ish and it made no difference. Still multiple parts listed.

Cheers

yes we do lol. It's because of the system used. long gone are the days of a manual look up, still got a few catalogues but the most of it is computer based. so with that in mind... get a reg? lol

Yeah number plate is best option, whenever I need anything for my engine, I look around ebay, find a 16v vitara, then give them the number plate from that! haha

k015268 cambelt kit, bpr5 plugs and adk82102 oil filter. the belts have quite a few options all of which are 4pk belts. which, depends on length.

exactly! I think the best way it to either try and measure the belts if not see if you can see the sizes on the belt.

Anyone got a 1.6 8v registration number i can borrow?

It has no belts steve. It's just and engine on my garage floor. Only has a cambelt on it.

Also pretty sure i need i different PAS belt anyway as the pump needs moving up overs and you use the same belt as you do for the fan belt.
