Grinding block / starter motor

Post by Jordi » Sun May 26, 2013 12:27 pm

Ha ha, another tricky bit. The starter just wont fit, so presume its a fat starter.

Do i take the starter out of the KJA and see if its a skinny one?

Do i grind the block/starter? How much needs to come off and where. It just seems to catch a little bit everywhere.

Help appreciated urgently!

Its behind the rear of it it fouls. Finding a skinny one is best.

Its all sorted now. Just gotta refit the fat starter to the KJA. The jmportant thing is the £60 untested engine is a runner.
