Gap between gearbox and engine block

Post by timwilks13 » Thu May 30, 2013 1:48 pm

Was fitting the gearbox to my 413 engine the other day and noticed that there is a gap at the bottom of the gearbox where it meets the engine block. Its only about an inch gap but leave the fly wheel and clutch open to the elements. Is there some sort of plate/gasket that goes between the two? My apologies if this is a silly question.

Awesome cheers man. Sent mike harris a text about the various bits i was missing, so fingers crossed he can help out with a few bits. Also got oil filter and exhaust manifold gasket ordered. Cant wait to get this underway!
