ujs and nipples!

Post by suzukisteve » Tue Jun 18, 2013 1:15 pm

ordered up a couple of blue print ujs, adk83901, as mine are on the way out. opened em up to find that they dont have a hole for the grease nipples?!

also after checking brt out and speaking to their tech guys, the uj they recommend puj2028, but you have to take the end caps off to grease em! so id have to completely remove the uj to grease it! :argh:

:tosser:

with that in mind can anyone come up with a decent supplier or part number?

cheers
steve

fully sealed non greasable UJs are better in my opinion, never had UJs that last as long as the standard Koyo ones.

Avoid blueprint UJs like the plague!

yeah not gonna touch the Blue print ones. brt just called back with their proper tech guy and said that the puj2028 have got grease nipples in the end caps, just waiting on price and availability now.

ive always thought the sealed ones would fuck up quicker when abused off road. how long do they tend to last you dude?
