Indicators working but no hazzards

Post by blitzman » Wed Jun 19, 2013 10:07 am

On my Blitz the indicators work both left and right but when I put on the hazzards only the drivers side flash, but if I put the indicator down for the left they then work???? I have tried a spurious flasher relay but this doesn`t work anything. I`ve another Suzuki flasher relay to try but this was not at hand last night any suggestions. All the lights are bright so it is not an earth problem........ :argh:

Only a guess, but could a wire have come of the back of the hazard switch?

It will be the switch, it has lots of tips inside and only takes one to stop working to mess things up , my hazards stopped working a while back, by repatedly pushing the button it cleaned the tip faces and it started working again, the only thing the electrical system uses different between hazards and indicators is the operating switch

I agree with Mr Tramp. The hazard switch should connect both indicator sides together as well as power on.
