How many levels are there?

Presume thats just generic mechanics? Or is it specific to anything?

Can't see what GCSEs have to do with mechanics but we didn't make the rules.

Whats the plan then? More college to get level 3?

If you want to specialise do you have to just find a job working at a plant hire firm or supplier?

I did look at doing an apprenticeship for JCB but at the time (12yrs ago). Apprenticeship pay was appalling. Pay was rubbish at commercial vehicle suppliers too.

Exactly im more a hands on type of guy gcses mean bugger all to me.

Not sure if im going to go back to college in way I do but I dont! as ive allready been there three years as it took me 2 years to get my level one on day release at school to get it.

Yeah the pay aint brilliant but it gets my foot out the door! Ive just got to find a firm to take me on go to the college then I will go on there scheme work 4 days and 1 day college.

Apprentice pays never been the best. Its a short term thing though as they are subsidising your pay. Once qualified the pay tends to be quite reasonable.
