Sold the Samurai

Post by charger » Fri Jun 28, 2013 8:55 am

Its gone to a good home though a young lady who will be using it for green lanes along with her husband who has a series 3 Landy so I guess she will be his recovery truck.
I have had a great 2 years working on the Zuk & going to pay & plays I felt it was time for a change & have bought an L200 classic shape for camping, lanes & will be able to take my 3 year old boy who thinks its his truck wife & dogs.
Big thanks to every one here for all the help especially Scotty, Ferris who I got the lift off & Mike Harris who shipped my various parts.
Scotty we need to Hook up in the autumn Today is the Day are touring you can talk Zuks with Steve Austin.
Despite my Zuk having MOT till march, 30k on the clock, recent BIG service incl cam belt, no rust just some discoloration on the firewall I only got £800 for it maybe it was the wrong time to sell but I would hate to think what it was worth with no MOT.
I might stick around here for a while as you are all so cool
Thanks james.

Glad to hear it's finally gone to a good home matey  sounded like it was quite close to being stripped. shame you didn't get much more for it but it does seem to be hard to sell vehicles at the moment.

And Hell yes! let me know some tour dates and I'm on it! :rockin: :rockin: :rockin:
