Finally got her.

Post by palmer » Sat Jun 29, 2013 7:24 pm

Hey all last october i posted some pictures of a samurai tin top i had found in a barn near to where i was working. I got hold of the man who owned her but he didn't want to sell so i left it at that. Fast forward 8 months and i get a phone call from the bloke needing to sell her at the beginning of June so 2 weeks of scrapping as much dough as i could i picked her up today for £650 with a years m.o.t on it. It had one of the sills done for the m.o.t and the back brakes had a total overhaul, she has a bit of rust on the back arches and some below the windscreen but overall she is in good condition. I have old m.o.t's up to 2006 which show it has only done about 1,500 miles since then and it is on around the 63,000 mark which i believe to be genuine. Here are some pictures of her, when i get a chance i will start a build thread i don't want to do anything major to her, sort the rust out, clean the paint work up and some new rubber under her feet. Overall i'm well chuffed :hands:

Thanks guys i will take more pics tomorrow, the drivers seat is knackered so i am going to replace both front seats, needs a bit of a clean out and it still has the original bench seat and belts in the back. It used to have some waves stickers on both sides which the previous owner removed not too well lol so will need tidying up but i'm very happy.
