Re: Scottie's Zuke
I will have my SJ ready for this weekend
All the old brackets have been cut off, the perches lengthened and new locating holes drilled for the 410 spring spacing. U-bolt plates have been modded to match the U-bolt width. Now just need to weld on some shock mounts, paint it, swap some 26 spline sidegears into the diff on the floor in front of my Sj, fit the axle and bleed the brakes.
I can do all that in 3 evenings

Like it. Knew you'd get it done Scott.
Looking forward to seeing it as i've never seen a full float actually fitted and in use before.

Because a fucked diff and shot wheel bearing was the final kick up the arse to get this axle fitted, I've been meaning to do it for agesturbo-tom wrote:Feel free is kick me up the arse. But may I ask why you changing axles?
Next job after this is to build the ARB up into another diff and fit the external cage ready for wagtail.

Added the shock mounts and slapped some primer on tonight. Tomorrow night it'll be painted in hammered black (as usual) and ill build up the diff for it Then Friday night will be spent fitting the axle and getting the brakes sorted let's hope it all goes to plan so I can see everyone on the lanes on Saturday.
