on sunday i was on my way to ducks ford air show with a few frends, i come to a big down hill and get told to gun it see how fast it can go.so i dun it foot flat 70 80 85 BANG I CANT SEE NO MORE? the dam bonnet come up smashing my window an all my spots, an 3 dents on the bonnet off the spots, so is now held down on with bungee rope. an i have a green window frame. the worst part is my old sj uk sticker was on my old frame. need new sticker.

S**t that sucks dude, glad it didn't cause an accident though! think if i ever do buy some bonnet clamps i'm not going for those rubber ones after seeing that! mind you 85 out've an SJ thats not bad going

Bloody hell, that sounds like a brown trouser moment, having that happening.
I think that i should invest in some decent bonnet clamps just in case that happens to me, driving on these damn bumpy roads here in Ireland at 60-ish mph.
Just as well you had a spare windscreen and frame Urbanzook.
