MOT is all done for me! rear diff and front axle oil seals need doing, maybe stick a better gearbox in it as well!
Ferris - I'd definitely give a 14" rad fan a go... I've got the standard sammy rad and that 14" fan and it works perfectly with my 1.6 16v...

One thing I have noticed is that the radiator with the smaller style cap seems to be better than the one with the larger cap...

From what I've read the 16vs are easier to keep cool than the 8v as they have different water channels in the head.

Yeah thats possible, although I had the 1.6 8v in with the standard 1.3 rad and a samurai viscous fan (for 4-5 years).
Never really had any overheating problems with that either...

Mike was going so i presume not. My dads taking his SJ down too. So i hope not.

Little sammy rang them an asked about dumper tyres too, apparently they are ok, another good sign.

A trailer for me is more of a plan B solution that I hope won't happen. But if vehicles dont have to be road legal and mines not, it will be coming on a trailer.

Story is, we toyed with the idea of moving, (as we rent) but didn't think we could get a bigger house, but as it happens we were accepted, and we move in on he 20 of August, so now I'm trying to juggle, sorting the crap out in the place we are in, finding money for fridge, washing machine ect for he new place, as the stuff here is built in and belongs to the landlords, and getting the sj on the road. Chaos at he moment it is, and work on top grrrrr.

But hay, trying my best to get it on the road, as it will be handy for he move as well.

Do you know if any one would know for sure?
