You can use the standard exhaust it will bolt straight on
saves you making an exhaust up when you do the job :)
Sj exhaust my restrict it a bit but not too much

You may also want to look into fitting a 1.3 radiator as well, that will cool a 1.6 but not sure a 1.0 rad will

The 410 exhaust will not bolt straight on, even if it did it would be far too small for a 1.6. easiest thing to Sonia get a complete 413 exhaust but if it was me I would use the 1.6 manifold and downpipe and then make the rest of the exhaust from scratch.

You need to make sure you get the complete ignition system and coil with the 1.6

I know a lot of people say its fine with a 1.3 rad but from my experience of everyone running the 1.3 rad they are the ones who usually end up getting hot while Offroading compared to those of us with the 1.6 rad.

You will need to make new engine mounts, that write up is for a 413/samurai 410 engine mounts are different.

413 gearbox is needed

84 is a bit of a changeover year as well so you might even need to modify the gearbox mount on the chassis, take a photo of it and ill be able to tell you if you will or not.

thanks for the info mate something to think about with the exhausts, the engine comes with the wiring harness not sure about coil, will I need to change complete wiring harness ? , sound like a big job with engine mounts and gearbox mounts is it a thing local garages could do.. thanks I will try and take a pic tomorrow and put it straight on thanks

Is it a carb engine or single point injection?
