No reverse gear
1-5 are Ok but sometimes 1 is a bit tricky. Reverse worked this morning but didn't this evening. Can't get it into reverse at all. Any ideas?
Re: No reverse gear
I'm sure someone will be along to help but I'm sure it would assist if you stated what vehicle you have and where you are in the UK.

Re: No reverse gear
I would try adjusting the clutch slightly.
Mine had a similar problem and clutch was just a little bit too loose.

Re: No reverse gear
Most likely that the clutch just needs adjusting as Jordi says.
If when trying to select reverse, try putting it in neutral and lifting the clutch and then try for reverse again, if you do this a few times and it still won't get reverse, take some slack out of the clutch cable.

Re: No reverse gear
Sometimes my box dont like going into reverse so I have to select first go into netrual then go into reverse. Rather then goung straight into reverse from 3rd obviously I stoped in third with the clutch down etc
