i may need help to rebuild asian calipers
Took my drivers side caliper of as it wasn't working properly also got a new rebuild kit for it should come Tuesday
Took the piston out and there is no rust on the piston how do I clean this on the piston Chears I tried a bit of brake fluid and it removed a bit of it took old seal out and cleaned it ready for new one

I clean mine with fine wire wool and wd40. Seems to work well.

yea, wire wool or scotch will deal with it. If it is pitted even a little, you should replace the piston aswell. I know you don't like to hear that, but you have to do it for your own safety, as they could bind up when you brake hard, and cause a real bad crash. I know several people that have crashed due to dodgy brakes, one ended up over a bank, down about 50 meters, and luckily he survived. don't repeat that mistake please. if it's not pitted, you can use it though

The kit will have some silicone grease if your lucky, this is for the sliding pins. Don't use copperslip as this is petroleum based and will make the seals swell.
Rubber grease is also fine and what Suzuki recommend

I used 800 grit wet and dry.
When putting it all back together make sure all the crud is out and lightly coat the new seal in the silicone grease. Make sure the seal is properly seater or the piston may jam on it or unseat it when you fit it. The piston should push back in by hand. If any more force is required its caught on the seal.
Same applies to the slide and the boot.
I found the easiet method was to fit the piston seal, then fit the boot to the piston. With the piston still loose seat the boot to the caliper and fit the circlip. Then gently push the in.
To do the slide boots, again make sure all crud and rust is removed from the caliper. I fitted one boot to the caliper and the other boot to the slide. Then fit the seal on the slide to the caliper and gently push it through. As long as both boots are seated properly the slide will gently push through bot of them.
Hope that makes sense.

Here is a pic of the retaining spring I prusome it goes in the dust seal and how do u get it in the caliper then as I have tried but it no luck

Fit the narrow end of the boot to the piston. Then fit the other end of the boot to the caliper while the piston is still loose.
Once the seal is seated in the caliper push the piston in about halfway. Then get the spring clip and fit one end into the seal and very carefully using a small screw driver feed the clip in all the way round.

If it's not too late I would also use some wet&dry paper to remove this rust as it may be scuffing against the piston.
Obviously remove the seal first and give it a good clean afterwards.
