We have 2 Kawasaki Angle Grinders in the Formula Student Workshop at Uni.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

We've got three Clarke ones, which are shit because you have to concentrate on turning them on and keeping them on rather than what you're doing, one Bosch one that's shit, same reason, and the Kawasaki ones everyone fights for because they're so much better. Slide safety with a squeeze trigger so you've got a firm grip and you can concentrate on what you're trying to do rather than fighting the bloody grinder.

That said, I've got a Clarke one of my own with the same type of trigger as the Kawasaki ones at Uni and it's pretty much just as good.

I've painted my rocker cover, and filed off the paint on the letters, and this is what it looks like now :brows:

also had a good day in the workshop today, cleaned out the engine block threads, and took the sump off, cleaned it, and painted it. the engine is getting to the stage of putting it all back together now, just waiting on a seal kit to come over from the uk now.

I was originally a bit annoyed to have to do all the work to the engine, as I was hoping it would be fine. looking back now, I actually really enjoyed it, so it's all good now :thumbup: am well happy at the moment

Looking really nice, that rocker cover is awesome, I'd like to bring myself to to an engine rebuild in mine, you've made it look easy!

Great looking rocker box! Some people use high heat paint but every zook box I've done I just used rattle cans and some lacquer, works a treat.
If it ticks over...leave it
