Engine out
Re: Engine out
Personally I prefer the use of an adapter plate as you aren't left with big gaps to let mud into the bellhousing. yeah mud finds its way in anyway but nowhere near as easily if you run the plate, we used one on my dads conversion and I have one sat in the workshop already for when I go 1.6 with the Lwb.
Even with the conversion plate you still need to drill out the top two holes to 12mm though.

Re: Engine out
I just used the adaptor plate. Not sure if its different depending on which adaptor plate you use. There is a couple of different ones kicking about.
