Well it was a bit of a mixed day today.

The site was pretty quiet, and we got stopped for being "off route". Well it's a bloody 4x4, that's what they are for!!

I got the Sammy stuck a couple of times, to be towed out by my sons Trooper.

BUT, I also had to tow him out of a place I'd got through OK :smokin:

Then the killer blow was I cleared a hill, first attempt that I've never managed to get up before. So he had a go and on the second attempt ended up breaking the transfer box as it had no rear drive, so causing an early bath and a limping home for him.

I was always there to tow him if needed :hahaha:

I've got a couple of pics to entertain, and some video I need to sort out.

It's a shame the photo of the month has closed for the theme mud, as I got a little bit on it today.

Looks like a good day, shame i couldn't make it.

Spent today on and off putting my snorkel together. Got a laning trip next sunday and a planned trip to NY Off Road next month too hopefully.

Maybe now your son will go out and buy a propper off roader.

It was OK, but not great, maybe because of the early bath.

His first 4x4 was a Vitara, then a anus Cherokee 4.0L petrol and gas with ARB's and a hydraulic winch, but a dodgy engine, now the Trooper.

Troopers are normally bullet proof, but when you try and keep up with a nimble Sammy.......

I've managed to knock a bit of something together from the few clips we took.

I've no on board this time as I forgot to take the bolt to fasten the camera to the mount :screwy:

As said in the first post, it was an early bath due to breaking the Trooper.
