The left hand 2 are for a 1.3 carb. I always have the lower round one left over.

The two on the right look like EGR gaskets and the lower one could be for the thermostat housing.

turns out the round gasket is for the hose conector piece on the water rail on the intake manifold. have rebuilt my head, and it's ready to go back on. am almost done cleaning the block, so it's almost ready to paint. also I'm just about done painting all the bits for the engine, just need to buy some rings and big end bearings, fit them, and put everything back together. hopefully this weekend will be fine, so I can finish painting the chassis. am slowly getting there now :)

had a good day today, worked for 5 and a half hours, then got round to painting my front part of the chassis

also masked the engine block ready to sprayed next week, cool green tape 8-)

That chassis looks very impressive, nicely done there.

Top work bud, the chassis is looking spot on.

That engine is gonna like brand new!

Bet you can't wait to get it all rebuilt and fire it up.

oh yes, "new" (read different second hand, in good nick, skimmed) rebuilt head, all new gaskets and belts, new frost plugs, new waterpump, newly painted, new bearings and rings, su hs2 carb conversion. she's gonna be a goodun :brows:

just need some help puting everything back together properly, but a friend has offered his help, getting so excited now :smokin:
