I'm back!
I'm back!
Hello all, after being suzuki-less for nearly 2 years I am back... Well nearly
I've been crashing about in my Landrover ever since, and that has over stayed its welcome.
So I think I've done my sj routes, and now I'm thinking a jimny....
I shall let you know on progress!
Henry

Re: I'm back!
I'm not normally a fan of Jimnys; they're too cute but after seeing the Chimpny I've started to change my mind. A few off road mods very quickly transforms them into a decent looking machine.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: I'm back!
I've been looking at black hard tops...
I think with a 2" on it, with black rims and some half decent MUDs it could be a winner!
Any points to look out for? Rot etc?
And Scott, you know my love affair with my landy, it's been a fantastic truck that I've been doing 1100 miles a week in all summer towing 3500kg! That takes some doing in a 27 year old landy

Re: I'm back!
Yes something like that, but i dont do buying modified trucks.... buy one standard, do the work you want to do, and have piece of mind that is done right
I think for what i can get for the landy, i should be able to pick up at half decent specked Jimny.
And for those of you who dont know me / remember me this was my old truck...
On the right, (if anyone on here owns the one on the left i have stacks of pictures of it, my best mate owned it for a few years)
Which turned into this....
Which i sold for this....
Which turned into this (as it is today)
As you can probably gather the plan for a standard sized set of muds for the Jimny will last all of about 20 mins!
