Brillo pad works well to rough it up if you are just going to over paint it.

Keep original colour more appealing if u ever have to sell

its so faded though so even keeping the original colour would mean an entire paint job, and i fancy a change in colour.

I reckon the red and yellow two-tone you've got going on is pretty sweet.

My suggestion. Satin purple.

Ive going for a colour that matches a shirt of mine. Its turquoise . 8-)

If you dont want to go with the Nato green what about just normal green.

Dont see too many around that are just a plain green. Most of them are either really bright green or a dark or matte green.
