You'll need to cut more than you think! fit the tyres and flex it up with full lock each way. cut then flex it up again and chances are cut again

What are you doing for gearing? You're SJ is really going to struggle to turn them if you don't sort that.

Also you might want to look into axle upgrades in the form of cromo front shafts and CVs and full float rear axles because 33" is the absolute maximum size you can run on stock SJ axles and you need to drive carefully to avoid breaking stuff with those

You're gonna have to drive very carefully with those tyres if you don't want to be breaking CVs every few trips out

Cool :doublethumbs: you best get saving for those cromo front shafts and CVs then
Best bet is lowrange4x4 or Trailtough in the US, think it works out cheaper to import them than to buy from a supplier in the UK

It should be ok with just a rocklobster but you might find it needs to still be lower. Some 4.6 or 4.8 vit ring and pinions would sort it nicely

And yeah that's the way to do it! I was surprised how much extra I needed to cut out of my arches with the lost height and added flex from the YJs for my 33s :chainsaw2:

You need two fronts for the ring and pinions anyway ;)
