Which electric fan?
Planning on fitting an electric fan to my SJ (1.6 8v with a vit rad).
What size fan is optimum and any brands to go for or avoid?
Cheers

Re: Which electric fan?
I have the same engine/radiator config as you Jordi.
In the morning I'll measure and take some pics of my electric fan and post them for you.
I'll see if I can see what brand it is too.
I use it loads and it's been good so far!

Kenlowe isn't out of my price range just not sure if they are worth it.

Re: Which electric fan?
I've heard about a lot of people having issues with kenlows with water getting in and killing them on of roaders.
Haven't got a clue what make mine are but I've had them a year now with no issues, will ask my mate who I bought them off, always good running twin fans I think, at least if one fails you have a back up.

Rover 400.
They have a cowling built in which works very well.
I can get mine to cool down to the point where the temp gauge hits the bottom.
There very good.
On ebay there about £16?

Re: Which electric fan?
The great thing is with these Jordi the cowling makes the fan suck the air through the whole rad !! Not just over the bit the fan turns on. These fans you can also take the motor out and clean it very easily.
My other advice is to fit a 16v rad as there a tad bigger, which helps a bit
