Just don't go for a cheap £20 leccy fan off ebay! I had mine for about a year until it packed up for our Wiltshire trip!

Fortunately my new £60 leccy fan is working well! Quite funny though as the housings are obviously the same, it just has a better motor and fan blades!

I measured it this morning and mine is just a bog standard electric fan as is commonly available from ebay or most motor factors. Unfortunately I couldn't see a manufacturer on it but I seem to remember it was about £10.

It's 30cm diameter and I run it off a switch on the dash. I generally just click it on before going down a byway and click it off afterwards so it gets quite a lot of use. With it on, the temperature gauge reads exactly the same as under normal driving conditions so I'm guessing it's appropriately sized.

Hope that helps!
