The PTO was fitted to Suzukis in som eother markets, it was primarily intended to power an optional winch:

the winch itself is driven off a V-belt which, I would imagine, would slip if the winch stalled to prevent the load stalling the engine.

the other option is a trail behind mower which has its own engine on it, like the type used behind atv,s, like this one

Yes I've seen those but I think that if I could get a PTO up and running then it would be a lot more versatile. I want to rebuild the Blitz on a Samurai chassis so I need to source a donor first, preferably an injected model.
