Kiwizook's resto
Re: Kiwizook's resto
got all these bits today new transfer box mounts, transfer case lever boot, and new crank shaft bolt.
also had a look at the exhaust, and found this
I'll try to find a new splitter that fits, and weld in a new splitter. one more thing to add to the list It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out
Re: Kiwizook's resto
so started with this
cut the broken bit out
go these
and managed to do this
the welder wasn't going well, but after I had it set up right, I started over again, and I'm quite happy with it now. just have to join the two halves under the wagon now, and weld them togetherIt's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Re: Kiwizook's resto
I'll be keeping the standard muffler on it for now, as it has to go through a re-vinning process, and they might not like a cherry bomb on there. I will eventually put a straight through with a cherry bomb on it though, more noise than power

Re: Kiwizook's resto
alright then. got monday off as it's labour weekend. I've just set the welder up with 0.6mm wire, got plenty of gas, weld through primer and sheetmetal. you all know what that means
