That's true. Just got to fit passenger door and paint the hard to get to bits.

Been out and looked at it. Not as bad as I thought it was gonna look. Need to tidy up the hard to get to places then see if I can be arsed to get on with the cutting, patching, welding and more painting.

I was thinking I may just paint the scuttle, windscreen surround and roof as there is very little cutting and bodging required. We are making progress though.

It's a bit cold so I've been using a convector radiator to warm the wheels up. Seems to have worked quite well.

Nah. Lacquer can be a batch to get back off. If they are just painted makes easier to give them a quick rub down and touch up.

Up close they aren't perfect but the body work will eventually all be rollered so a few runs in the wheels ain't gonna make it look any worse. Lol.

These were corroded and peeling so I couldn't make them any worse. Wouldn't like to try and replicate the pinstripe.

Just don't know which bit to do next as it all involves a bit of cutting and welding. Was hoping to have acquired a pipe bender by now to do a tray back. Was borrowing one off a mate but it hasn't materialised yet.
