Couple that with the one-piece front end and you've got something pretty damned awesome!

how would a body like that stand up to a crash or rollover though?
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

see I dunno, it would be nice not having to worry about tin worm for a change and it would almost certainly be lighter, but my main worry would be strength. if I were off road and, I dunno, say slid against a rock or tree, would it end up with a big hole in the side?
pickle power!

I think the fiberglass would crack and rip, and fiberglass is super easy to fix up, a little resin, some fiberpads, and you're away. with the reduced weight it would be very tempting to couple the fiberglass body with an external rollcage. protection without the added weight, no rust, easy fixing of the body. the only thing holding me back is the horrendous price tag,

You'd just ground everything to the chassis or just run direct wires.
