moving house
moving house
hi to all, im gonna be moving house in a couple of weeks and i need to get my samurai started. its been stored for a couple of years as a project but alas the kids got in the way!! apart from fuel and a new battery is there anything else to watch out for?? thanks for looking, cheers eric.
Re: moving house
If it was me I would drop a small amount of oil into the cylinders through the spark plug holes and turn the engine over a good few turns by hand, then I would disconnect the coil and turn it over a bit on the starter to build up some oil pressure before actually starting it, will reduce the chance of damage from a dry start up.
