axle breather

went to put my axle breathers on today and couldnt for life of me get the little breather caps off the axle. ive twisted and pulled but dont want to force them till i know how they come off. any clues?

Just prise it off with a screw driver. They are so flimsy compared to the fixed part in the axle case you will be fine.

moulegrips and just twist the shit out of it they do give up and come off.

Nope its all proper jobs nowadays...
the broken bits on the truck are from before doing things properly ;)

I use specialist tools like torque wrenches rather than just "That'll do"

also, the fine adjustment tool (hammer) always has its place

Anton - next time ur at ur mums get a picture of the specialist oil seal tool of scotties ;)
