king pin bearings have gone in my 410 axle

Starts at the flywheel, ends at the hubs, any problems along them lines, ask your questions here.

Thats the exact same swivel seal that I fitted to mine last month the felt bit is a seperate item you need to order two halves for either side. When you fit the rubber swivel seal soak it in hot water first as this will make it easier to get over the end of the axle.

I'd say it is the same.

You just need to carefully pull away the felt wiper and you should be able to re use it

Ok chears mate where do I get the felt bits from chears for the advice mate

If they are cheap I might get some New ones but if I can.reuse it I.might chears

Jimnybits thats who I had mine from but as ladaman says you may be able to pull them apart and reuse them give it a go

It should be ok if you close up that tear and fit it above centre then it wont stop you fitting it so that you can get it all built up then order some new ones. The new ones can then be split and fitted when you get them just make sure you get the split above centre

It should be OK. Note the slots aren't equally spaced so it will on go on in one of two positions. So as gp7186 says put the tear to the top.

When I did my front axle recently, I didn't need to cut the seal or wiper. You can ease them on if you get the first bit right into the joint of the casing and knuckle.

Ideal chears guys so I will proberly order 2 new ones ideal as I can start to put it back together Saturday and fit the new ones when.they come as I am planning on doing the other side if this side goes right I will proberly do it on.christmas day lol as I ordered 2 sets of kingpin bearings and seals as the other side has play in it as I put new wheel bearings in 1 mounth ago so soon the front will have new bearings and seals :)

All back togheter and all working just got to tighten up my wheel bearings a little bit as I only put new ones in 1 month ago plus the other kingpin bearings on.the drivers side are in good condition still so I will do them in 2-4 months time

Also what is the purphase of this guys as jimnys don't have them.
