My Old Vitara Fatboy & SJ410

Post by mmac78 » Wed Jan 01, 2014 12:26 pm

Here are a couple of pics of my old Vitara. Bought in June 2010 - seemed to be nice and sound until MOT time came and it took 36 hours of welding to repair... I won't bore you with all the work in progress pics just one before and after should do :)

Before (couple of days after I bought it):ImageImage

Work for MOT (May 2011):ImageImageImageImage

You get the idea... It was rotten, and after alot of hours (36 hours to be exact) this was after the new MOT and sprayed up etc:

Unfortunately, I decided to sell it in January 2012 to get a newer car.

Then in the Summer of 2012 I picked up this SJ410 - it wasn't running right, and had a duff starter motor...but however I fixed it up, gave it a service and sold it on. Which I really should have kept!

Miss the pair of them, really should have kept the Vitara in fairness but we all make mistakes!
Now in the market for an SJ413.

Cheers all.
