sj410 manual fuel pump oil leaking

hi guys just wondering whats the best sealer to use for fuel pump on my sj410 project. i bought new pump cleaned area and fit new gasket and there is oil leake ,stripped back fitted another new gasket with tiger seal and there is still oil leak :er:

hmm sounds like you have used a pretty much similar way like you would use instant gasket. possible chance the surface possibly might of warped, That's the worse that could happen.

id give the two surfaces a proper good clean up and try again. if not use an old cereal box

Old cereal box, what kind of amateur are you? Everyone knows DIY gaskets are made from strongbow cases.

I don't know what the fuel pump is like on a 410 but on a 413/Sammy sometimes the pump diaphragm starts leaking, the oil comes out of the breather hole on the underside of the pump and causes a few oil drips while running, if it's this it's best to replace the pump,

yes its brand new pump ,im just after putting old one back and leak is still there
