carb ??
Re: carb ??
Can't really blame a 20+ year old carb for getting worn and starting to play up, most cars that age have their issues

Re: carb ??
till 5 years back we had a W reg bedford camper from the first lot of registration marks, so 79/80 sort of year, and that carb was fine till the end, they can be made to last, i think the 413 had just a badly designed carb.

The CF carb is very crude, the 413 carb is quite sophisticated. Its not difficult to repair a 413 carb but the parts are expensive.

Re: carb ??
I doubt it, I've got that weber kit fitted on my zook (which I used mainly on the road) and I found the weber a brilliant replacement for the original, having the complete kit makes everything easy and contains everything needed to make the conversion easy, the kits professional and what I liked the most was that it was compatible with the original airbox and is a complete bolt on solution, you'll hear nothing but praise from me about this kit - and yes it is an expensive kit but webers have parts back up and the kit is a full kit that you know will work,
Here was my engine bay before the weber
And with the weber fitted
I'd recommend the kit!
