Re: Brakes seizing on help.
The proportioning valve is the thing on the chassis by the off side rear wheel. This reduces braking effort to the rear axle during heaving braking.
I thought the 6 way joint was just a manifold to connect the two brake circuits together, so no valves or anything inside it just connecting holes.
Is there anyway the length of the brake push rod length could have altered? The one from the servo to the master cylinder. It seems this is about the only area not looked at.

Re: Brakes seizing on help.
So the thing up front is the portioning valve and the one at the rear is the DSP valve. My SWB 410 has one.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: Brakes seizing on help.
The manual shows the 410 fitted with a load sensing valve. (early models)
dsp valve (later models)
I'm only going by the book, and we know what Suzuki are like

Re: Brakes seizing on help.
Oh, right, might be a load sensing valve on the back of mine then, but there's definately something in the brake line on the chassis/

Ahhh, that explains my confusion.
I don't do "skinny" ones.
