Post by keyring » Sat Jan 25, 2014 3:19 pm

Hey guys, putting the 1600 8v into my 410 today and noticed the carb has a few wires on it, can anyone tell me what these are for?

Cheers

If its anything like a 1300 there's a fuel stop solenoid and something for the idle up control.

As Dan says, idle up and fuel shut off.
The 410 doesn't have this idle up so just leave it alone, just means it may tick over at low rpm when you have lots of electricory on.

The colour for the fuel solenoid is the same for both, B/W
The SJ uses the valve body for earth, the vitara has a wire.
Just earth the brown wire anywhere suitable.
