Hello from Salt Lake City, Utah (USA)
Hello,
My name is Brent and I'm from Salt Lake City, Utah. I live about 5 hours from Moab. I'm in the process of building an SJ413. This is my 5th Samurai. I'm building it to handle the rocks of southern Utah.
The specs are:
Stock 1.3
GM alternator
TC power steering pump to FJ80 steering box
6.5:1 tcase
Toyota Axles
-High Pinion front with a Spartan
-V6 rear with an ARB
Roll cage
bumpers, sliders, and skid plate
and a bunch of little odds and ends
Here's the Samurai when I was bringing it home after purchasing it and a few other detailed shots:
It's nice to see a bustling Samurai community. It seems as though most of it has died out here in the states. I look forward to lurking about.

Welcome to SCUK.
Tidy looking motor. The Suzuki scene is fairly good over here still, more mud than rocks though.

Those are some beastly looking axles. Nice!
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Welcome to the club
I thought the rockcrawling scene was still good over there.
These guys seem to have fun but I don't know where about they go offroading.

Looking forward to seeing the build

Re: Hello from Salt Lake City, Utah (USA)
Thank you, all.
Rock crawling is still very popular out here, especially where I live. It's the Suzukis that are more of a rare sight. Jeeps, Toyotas, tube buggies, etc., are much more commonplace.
Years ago seeing a Samurai off road was much more common, now they're a bit expensive and the short wheelbase and power are common detractors. There are still some being built, but not like 5-10 years ago.

Looks like you have the makings of a very nice truck there.
No need to lurk about though, join in the occasional madness!
And by the way.
