1298 to 1328 swap?

Hi,
I'm new to this Jimnys and this forum.
Please could someone tell me the easiest engine change for a 2002 Jimny Convertible.
It has a G13BB engine. 1298cc 16v SOHC MPI.
The head and cam has had it. The cylinders don't look too good either.
This engine doesn't seem that easy to get hold off (at the right price)
I can pick up complete cars with the 1328 16v DOHC engine quite easy.
Would I need to change wiring looms, ECUs etc?

It might be worth putting a vit 1.6 16v engine in it as you are taking the engine out anyway

Im not sure how involved the wiring is but it has been done before so there should be info out there!

Hi. Thanks for that. I will look into it.
Happy to go for a 1600 so long as its easy swap. for now.
I can spend more time on it at a later date when I have other transport sorted.
