Hardened shafts
Looking at these
http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.ph ... 3-kit.html
Am I right in thinking I need to fit side gears out of a rear diff to fit them?

Ands what's the difference between the Low Range shafts and these. Other than a few hundred dollars.

Re: Hardened shafts
I know nothing of rocky road but have heard bad rumours
As for low range off road I couldn't fault the service at other than my phone line didn't like working properly so had to do everything via email.
Very helpful guys and the kit that turned up looks top notch

Re: Hardened shafts
Nothing wrong with Rocky road. Iv had a 100% success rate with them so far (on my one order).
That being said I'm am planning on getting some of those shafts very soon and will definitely be getting the ones from lowrange.

Re: Hardened shafts
Chromos aren't essential with 33s as you don't drive like a fool, I ran 33s on stock 410 axles for a long time and only broke a few CVs when I was driving like a knob then again if you drive like a fool you can break things on smaller tyres.
My chromo shafts and CVs are from www.Trailtough.com

Re: Hardened shafts
Also saw chromo replacement rear shafts?
Group order may save a few quid.
I may wait till I break some, got plenty of spares.
