definetly water in your oil mate, do a pressure check on all cylinders to see if it has a gasket leak, or just replace it anyways without checking, should be a relatively easy job to do
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

as i dont know the condition of the engine when i bought it i have ordered a head gasket and timing belt and will do them both tonight to be safe. Will pressure test it first just to see, and i kinda hope it is the head gasket, if it pressure tests fine and the head is fine then im at a loss as to the issue! unless as twiss has suggested i have put a pipe on wrong, and got a vac pipe on a water feed etc, will wait and see!

While the head is off, if it comes off make sure you check for warpage with a straight edge and feeler gauges and get it skimmed and pressure tested if necessary.

Not good news either way

Wow that's a lot of emulsion.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Interestingly the rockers weren't coated at all, the gunk was only on the rocker cover and being sucked through the breather and fed through the carb, so gone back to a nice clean 1.3 cover and will run the breather to the pcv and to it's own little filter.

The head gasket looked fine when I took it off, no obvious gaps, so changed it and the timing belt and will see tomorrow if she's any better!!
