Grand Vitara J20a silicone hoses, engine dress up?

Post by Jay18 » Sat Mar 08, 2014 8:12 pm

Hi, does anyone know when I can find a set of silicone hoses for the J20a Grand Vitara?

I have only been able to find the hose to do the vacuum hoses and breathers but no specific kit for the GV

Also what paint would people recommend using for the strut brace?

Rattle can. Take strut off, thorough clean, sand down and derust as needed. Primer, paint, lacquer, job done. As for hoses if you can't find any on ebay then it's Suzuki UK I'm afraid...
If it ticks over...leave it

I've bought lots of odds and ends from JJCs, they're great. Never had any problems with them.

Will have to see what the hoses are like on the GV when I pick it up, and exactly what Edweird said, pretty colours :D

But everyone knows that blue hoses and plug leads make your engine generate precisely a metric fuck ton more power. Combine that with the weight saving you get from having a carbon fibre look vinyl wrap and you'll have a proper 1 o'clock at McDonalds racer.

Hahaha, the main thing is I want it to be different, in other words, not standard haha I'm thinking of sticker bombing my strut brace but not sure with the head from the engine

I might do a 2" lift and find some nice GV alloys for it but will see where it takes me...
