Well it's been a slow week. In some discomfort so everything is hard work, but I've got the garage tidied again so I can get in there. Got the middle child (2)to scrub the mildew off the truck some water and a sponge and he loved getting soaking wet. Sorted the drivers window out which had stared to drop needed a new glass bracket bloody passenger side has started now but I've not got a spare bracket for that side so might have to make something.
Got the used front axle I bought into the garage and had a look at it. Looks like I've got some spares, not too sure if the axle is straight. The drag link is bent out and the whole reason I bought it was cos it was spring under but the saddles are bent, looks like from a heavy side impact but defiantly both leaning to the same side. Also they're curved around the axle. Might have been over tightened a bit! So this week will mostly be making some more saddles to go onto my existing axle(when the spoa was done they cut off the original saddles!?!?!?) bump stop spacers for the front.

A long shot I know but does anyone have one of the little channel things that holds the glass onto the regulator? I need one for the passenger door.

That would be good. How much do you want for it and would you be willing to post it?
Cheers Ben

The sj transfer case needs to be split in order to take out the detent ball that allows you to have the 2wd set up. I followed the write up on this site. Then it's just a case of making up the twin sticks. I've still got that particular set still in the garage so I'll dig it out at the weekend and get some more pics for you.

Well not been too bad a week. Made the rear bump stops, due to axle moving back 4 or 5 inches need completely new units so I've used some spare front rubbers. Made up the front bump stop extensions to move them down 2'' and forward an inch and a half. Have remade some saddles in spring under again. Made a folder too, which should gel when I have to make the panels.
