subaru justy engine
subaru justy engine
I have got the chance to gain an engine from a 1300 justy 4x4 with spi. Cracking engine, I can get all of the injection stuff to go with it. Question is, although it is a Suzuki engine, is it based around the sj block?

Re: subaru justy engine
They're all G series engines so should be pretty similar to the G13 engine from a 413/Samurai

Not sure how well it would work after that

It'll be fine! It'll run like a dream
Re: subaru justy engine
I've been thinking...... Do I go to the hassle of removing the engine from the justy to fit everything into my Sammy.....or do I go the bike carb route as I have a set of gpx750 carbs sitting. I can fab a manifold no bother. What would be the best route? Injection I guess is a bit more reliable but will I gain anything from fitting a 1300 with injection? Or do I just keep the engine I have and run bike carbs?

I would go with the Justy engine, unless you plan on making your SJ into a motocross racer.

Re: subaru justy engine
I would love to see some results of fitting bike carbs. Ive read some posts on other forums about fitting them but never seen results. I just wondered if they would produce more torque etc
