My truck, work in progress
My truck, work in progress
still Jap of course its a Toyota Hilux mk2 raised 11" running 37" tyres with a 3.5lt rover v8.
been taken off the road while i work on it making it 5" wider either side and turning it into a dakar style trophy truck.been doing a fair bit of work on the truck and making some progress. wings are done and just need the odd bit of work and they will be ready for paint or wrapping.
made some headlight boxes and fitted the BMW lights so they can be fully adjusted which will defiantly need doing. Batteries and rad will be moved to the back. Making up a headlight surround and grill for it as we speak, as well as some kind of bumper to go under the lights as they looking like they are hanging off the truck like this lol
so its a tad bit wider now lol
getting there, sept the entire back to do lol :roflmao: :roflmao:

I love lifted hi-luxs. Prefer the Mk3. LA supertrux always used to do awesome stuff to them. Used to see loads at truckfest. Big lifts, big V8s and wunoff exhausts.
1988 Samurai - Truck Cab & Tray Back - 1.6 8v & HIF44 - Snorkel - Stack Exhaust - PAS, YJs & 33s - Trussed, Gusseted & Pumpkin Capped Axles - 4.3 R&Ps - 4.16 T/Box - Rear Air Locker - Full Float Back Axle & Discs - RCV Front Shafts - X-Eng Handbrake - Custom Fuel Tank
Re: My truck, work in progress
yeah they did used to do loads, the body lift and suspension i had off them before the shut. mk3 and the mk2 are pretty much the same except with different lights and rounded panels.

what are those wings made off? all fibreglass?
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out
Re: My truck, work in progress
Yeah fibreglass, I make fibreglass truck parts part time for a living. Arch kits etc
