Had one of those moments today. I have 8 bolts that hold the generator cover on my ZXR. They all need a clean, so one by one I did just that and put them down on the workbench. All 8. Turned around to grab a cloth and there were 7. If one had fallen on the floor I would have heard it. Checked everywhere, floor included. Nope. It's gone.

I had the same thing earlier, put transfer box back on, had all the bolts and washers in neat little piles, I swear washers can disappear at random
